Dear Prescription drug abuse group,
I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation about the current problem in the use and abuse of prescription drugs among college students. Prescription drugs obviously are very powerful. One pill can alter someone’s mind to perform at different levels, others can cause hallucinations to full body incapacity. I have known people to get into pills, and from what I have seen it has never gotten completely out of hand. There is so much you can talk about on the unessay.
First of all, you could talk about the accessibility of prescription drugs. Since the problem among college students seems to be getting more serious, then propose ideas of ways to make prescription medication less accessible to them. I found it compelling, but not surprising that use of stimulants such as Adderall is so commonly accepted and used among people in our age range. It would be very interesting to see if the use of prescription drugs leads to use of other drugs. Are pills considered to be a hard drug? I would assume so because of how powerful they can potentially be. It would be informative to learn more about all of this.
In terms of repurposing your unessay, a flier that could perhaps be seen around a college campus that talks about drug awareness would not be a bad idea. Since it is somewhat a phenomenon, a lot of people don’t realize that prescription pills can be extremely dangerous. It is also important to keep in mind that having prescription pills on your person is illegal without a prescription, and someone can go to jail for possession of such substances.
