In the article The Habits We Need To Kick To Bring Human Interaction Back From The Dead by Emily Eaton talks about characteristics of human interaction. This article discusses, and provides examples of good and bad social interaction. Some of the things this article discussed are all fairly obvious, but they are just as much habits as they are anything else. Eye contact and body language are habits that people exhibit when talking to one another. They can be either good habits or bad habits. Crossing your arms, slouching, biting your nails, fidgeting in any sort of way is technically an example of poor body language. Eaton goes through the basics of social interaction, which is all pretty obvious. Eaton also discusses how technology is a concern for good relationship habits. Cell phones are common among almost everybody you meet nowadays, but Eaton discusses how it can be detrimental to some relationships. On the other hand, it is possibly a device that brings people closer together than ever before.
