Articles are broken up into a few key characteristics, including a catchy headline, short, concise paragraphs that reach the point quickly, facts or statistics and quotations. Articles are not particularly long, to prevent the reader from getting bored, and often only include factual information (unless it's an opinion piece). -Side note: I haven't decided whether I'll do a factual piece or an opinion piece.-
Articles (in newspapers) are usually aimed at the general population, but articles in themed newspapers will be aimed at certain groups of people (ex. sports magazines, fashion magazines, etc.) I'm interested in a profiling article, but I haven't decided yet.
I think that an article will be an effective way to get across my information in a clear and concise way. I enjoy research and will also get to be sort of creative with the layout and colors, pictures, etc.
This will also hold my interest while working so that I can feel as though I've put my best work in.
