Thank you all for making this English course both entertaining and valuable. In every other English class I've ever taken, it's always felt like we were just studying the English language without really experiencing it. Endless novels to read and papers to write made the classes little more than tedious inquiries into just how bored someone could be. This class, however, was something else entirely. I loved getting to talk about, and occasionally debate about, my opinions on life. I loved reading and writing blog posts to learn about other's experiences and to share my own. I loved goofing around when there was work to be done. But, most of all, I loved spending time with you, all of you.
I also want to thank all of you for venturing with me into the weird world that is this occasionally annoying language, it wouldn't have been the same, nor nearly as fun, without you guys.
Finally, a note specifically to my Cuban homies: Ben, Coral, Maddie, and Harry. You guys were a fantastic group to work with and I want to thank you all for being with me to make that absurd little presentation of our. I hope to see all of you around campus/in classes next year.
Until next year, I hope you all enjoy your summer,
Bill Goodwin
