Hilary Clinton: Clinton has looked over the embargo and has seen that it hasn't been very effective; instead of focusing the political power on Cuba, Clinton believes we should focus it more so on Latin America.
Jeb Bush: Bush believes that what Obama is doing is the wrong step to take in the path towards making a democratic Cuba.
Ted Cruz: Cruz, similar to Rubio, is against lifting the embargo calling it a "very, very bad deal." Cruz also believes that Cuba is only doing this so that they can maintain power.
Lindsey Graham: Graham stated Obama's change in Cuba policy "an incredibly bad idea." Graham also stated that we would do is best to block the use of funds to open an embassy in Cuba.
Bobby Jindal: Jindal stated that he believes that Obama's moves are "a reward to the Castro Brothers." Jindal believes that Obama's moves are endangering national security and the American people.
Before listening to this presentation I didn't have a great concept on how our relations with Cuba had worked in the past and our history with them. The moves from Obama I believed were very effective and the right move to make, but after considering what these candidates are saying, basically all disagreeing with what Obama is doing, my view is sorta distorted now and I still believe that ending the embargo was a good idea, I just believe we got to do something to protect our country.
