I made several revisions throughout the project. The most helpful feedback I received was from Paloma during the in class revision. She was the one who suggested adding part of my story into the podcast, rather than it being interviews. That part of the podcast was really helpful because it served as a transition between my opinion and my interviews. Plus I was able to (hopefully) connect with the audience more. She also suggested that I use my story to build a conclusion, which was also very helpful. I was able to cleanly end my podcast.
I want to make sure that my interviews were sufficient. I have only had to interview two other people in my lifetime so this was a new experience. I knew all of the people I was interviewing which really helped the process. I just want to make sure that they were formal enough and got to the point. My final question would be do you think that it would be a good idea to interview more people if I were to change something about this project?
I was really proud of the fact that I tried something I had never done before. Doing a podcast was a lot more complicated than I originally anticipated. It wasn't so much that interviews or recording it was all of the editing. I discovered that I am not going to work a soundboard at any point in my life. I was also pleased that I was able to interview a wide range of people. Having all of those different opinions on a common issue was helpful for the project and it expanded my knowledge on the subject.
